Abstract
Since the beginning of the United States History this country has been known as a nation of different cultures. As time has passed interethnic and intercultural relationships have become more common. This study discusses the complexities of interethnic relationships, specifically Mexican-American and Euro-American relationships; diving into power, what it means to be in love, family and peer influences, adolescents interpretation of love, and the level of satisfaction interethnic couples encounter. This study indicates that interethnic and interracial relationships may have less resources at their disposal when complications arise and to combat this dilemma this study offers a Bi-cultural Relationship Rescue Model created by the author.
