Abstract
This paper attempts a pro-anthropocentric reading of Interstellar: The Official Movie Novelization. The goal of this paper is to challenge the notions of anti-anthropocentrism. The key to survival, as seen in Interstellar, is to embrace our very human perception, however limiting. This can be seen in the ways in which humans interact with non-humans and the theme of exploration. Exploration, a human endeavor and concept, is the key to survival.
