Abstract
This article discusses a community-based collaborative initiative to document Black history in Inland Southern California that details the process of working with the region’s Black community to conduct oral history interviews and digitize family historical materials to build an online digital archive that highlights the Black pioneers and leaders who have contributed significantly to the region’s development.
