Abstract
In this interview, Sharon Johnson talks about her experiences going to school while integration was occurring. Going from a Catholic school to Pacific High School and then to San Gorgonio High School was impactful for Johnson. Early in San Gorgonio High School, she had seen how the integration of students eventually led to less chaos as time passed by. Johnson also talks about her time breaking the mold and becoming the first Black pom in San Gorgonio High School. At the end of the interview, Johnson talks about how a teacher led her to learn more about feminism.
