Abstract
Carol Ann Tillman interviews Jennifer Vaughn Blakely where they discuss her childhood in the Southern United States and being put on a train at the age of sixteen to go live with her uncle in California because of integration. She also discusses her life story including her college experience, career, family heritage and dynamics, and African American culture.
