Abstract
In this interview, Jay Debow-Williams is the guest. She discusses the memories of BSU, such as being able to see a recording of Sanford and Son through it. She also explains that the organization was a fashion hub for members. Alongside other students, Debow-Williams had to face racist terms being thrown at her. Luckily, she was able to get support from the BSU in those events. She also sees the obstacles that come with being a biracial person and how she feels more comfortable being in the Black community through the BSU. The interview ends with the guest explaining how she feels that the youth now may not be ready to face current racial tensions. As there is no help now from organizations like BSUs and there is the source of social media, it creates difficulty in using words instead of just fighting.
