Photo of Alex Rubalcava 1966 pitching in Mexicali, Mexico against Mexico's Finest Teams. During this period teams from the Inland Empire traveled to Mexico to play. San Bernardino also hosted many teams from Mexico furnishing food and housing. Players from Mexico included Jorge Rubio, pitcher both left and right handed, ambidextrous. Eventually played for the California Angels.
