Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the application of choice theory as an effective form of therapy for populations that include the troubled youth. Choice Theory was innovated by renowned psychiatrist, Dr. William Glasser, in 1998, and in part, helps to promote an individual's positive self concept and self esteem. Glasser believes that success in our schools depends upon the student having a positive self concept.
