Abstract
This research project explores social workers' definitions of codependency, assessment of codependency, and types of interventions for codependency, particularly among youth. Learning more about codependent treatment for young clients and families will aid practitioners and mental health workers to focus on appropriate assessment and treatment for teens and families rather than stereotyping and denying them resources and coping strategies.
