Summary

Tom Rivera interviews Arthur Colunga, a man who has a deep history and connection to South Colton. Colunga mentions that growing up, his grandfather worked as a contractor to find fruit pickers for orchards. The interviewer mentions that he even helped in that work. Some of the stories even go back to Rivera working with the grandfather as a youth and further explain Colunga’s grandfather’s contributions to the city. There is also a mention of how he and his wife eventually met. As the interview goes on, Colunga discusses his time in the military as well as the topic of his family. After a brief return to the topic of picking crops, Colunga mentions his best memories of living in Colton. The interview ends with a story about a nice interaction with the police in Colton.
