Abstract
In this interview, Ann Green is the guest. She begins the video by discussing the time she attended San Gorgonio High School, from 1971 to 1975, and the engagements the BSU created within various community rooms. The next topic discussed is integration and how, while in junior high, she had been a victim of racist violence by high school students. Green also talks about the limited positions that Black students would achieve in sports. The guest also mentioned that, with knowledge of upholstery, she was able to fix up some chairs for the BSU. Green also mentioned that during junior high she was an excellent student and how one teacher tried to belittle her. This stemmed from her having good grades and being a Black student, which the teacher was racist against. The interview ends with Green discussing how BSU, as well as her family and educators, helped her to be academically successful.
