This is the first issue for 2017 and, therefore, for this journal's seventh volume. It contains five articles on a variety of topics. They also represent a variety of types of articles. We hope you enjoy them. This volume is also the first to which Dr Risa Lumley has made an editorial contribution. We welcome her to the team. Our thanks to the authors of these articles.
