Abstract

This syllabus that is attached is a new course in the CSUSB Kinesiology Department Titled "Orientation to Kinesiology". Previously the material taught in this new course was taught in two separate courses. So the impetus for creating this new sample syllabus was combine the material in the two courses into one manageable course as we move to the semester conversion. Material from the previous courses needed to be amended and cut to fill a single semester. This sample syllabus provides some groundwork that future instructors can use and modify as they see necessary.
