Abstract

This project focuses on curriculum development to support the new Transition Age Youth (TAY) program at University Center for Developmental Disabilities (UCDD), at California State University, San Bernardino. Curriculum development will include enhancing current life skills, social skills, and preemployment vocational skills material. In doing so, the targeted skills, goals, and content areas can be modified based on the individual needs identified during the initial assessment and those that develop during the clients’ participation in the program. As part of the ongoing TAY program, the goal is to provide quality service to the clients and their families.
