Abstract

My work focuses on dealing with, accepting, and moving forward from the unescapable reality of death. The repetitive experience of my dying pet rats (whom are the main subjects and focus), have forced me to think of and process my own mortality. My work is also about saying goodbye and welcoming the inevitable. The deaths of my pets have allowed me a new found perspective on life, while driving my ideas as an artist.
