Howe took this trip with Don Fruit, Wilma Williams, and Andy Kastell. The canyon, on the Sierra Juarez Plateau in northern Baja, has hot pools (Howe, 1976c). The photographs include a group of people having refreshments beside a car, landscapes, jeeps traversing rocky hill terrain, a swimming hole, and a hut of palm fronds.
