Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which self-care helps to prevent and/or to protect against burnout among professional clinical therapists. The research for this study was conducted to look at the importance of incorporating self-care into social workers' daily routines and the effects that doing so could have on the prevention of or protection against burnout.
