Abstract
In this research, the focus was on commercial robberies with the primary targets being convenience stores and those with gasoline stations. Commercial robbery is defined as the taking or attempted taking of anything of value from the care or custody of a commercial or financial establishment. This study was restricted to late night establishments in Lexington Kentucky, and those features that contribute to their victimization.
