Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the demographic variables that distinguish recidivistic families, those that have received three or more DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) re-referrals over a one-year period, from other families. Child welfare service recidivism is a historically expensive and socially damaging issue that should be further researched.
