Abstract
This research will examine whether or not religion, as an aspect of culture and cultural mythologies, acts as a fuel for domestic violence. Because the recidivism rate of domestic violence is not being diminished, the focus of this thesis aims to create a new paradigm, by which families in crisis can be assisted.
