Summary

Video recording from the Provost Presents Faculty Research Series co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and CSUSB Libraries.

In this presentation, Dr. Marc Robinson, Assistant Professor of History at CSUSB, will discuss his research on 1960s Black student activism in the Pacific Northwest, which uncovers the little-known story of how the Black Student Union in Seattle and beyond led the charge for educational reform during that time. He will also discuss how this research highlights broader insights regarding contemporary racial justice work, both within and outside of academia.
