Summary

Tom Rivera interviewed Esther Hernandez-Ramos, a woman with a deep history in Colton. Hernandez-Ramos began the interview by speaking about her grandmother, who had a successful food business. The interviewee was also raised in a very Catholic family and were very involved in the church. After speaking on the history and events of the church, Hernandez-Ramos spoke about her love of music and dance. She also spoke about her educational journey to become a teacher and seeing how many husbands did not support their wives going to college. She also spoke on early memories in her life including the memory of her own birth. The interview ends with Rivera asking Hernandez-Ramos about the best thing for her in Colton, which was growing up with her large family.
