Editor's note

Welcome to Volume 16, Issue 2.

This issue contains three articles, the topics of which are very current and appropriate. The first is Kinsley Okoye's article on mining big data through a semantic-based process modeling approach. The second is Tony Coulson et al's article that focuses on cyber-security planning at the national (US) level. The last article by Joseph Chan focuses on Customer Knowledge Management in the Cloud. Together, these three articles cover the three 'big' current areas in the field of MIS - namely, data mining, cyber-security, and knowledge management in the cloud. We hope that the readers will find these a useful addition to their knowledge.
