CSUSB Student Newspaper

California State University, San Bernardino's student newspaper was started the year campus opened in 1965. The title of this newspaper has changed a few times throughout its history. Communique was the first newspaper of the student body, published from November 9, 1965 - October 21, 1966. It was followed by Paw Print, published from May 9, 1967 - November 23, 1983. Beginning on January 12, 1984 the campus newspaper underwent another title change and became the Cal State Chronicle. The name appearing on the masthead of the Cal State Chronicle has been inconsistent, sometimes appearing as the CSUSB Chronicle and at other times the Coyote Chronicle which it is now commonly referred to as today
