Abstract

This project aims to present a selection of poems written by André Katkov during his time as a MFA student at CSUSB as well as serve as a platform to put forward his ideas concerning the craft of poetry as seen through his own eyes, especially in consideration of what he finds to be the most crucial factors that influence his work and how they pertain to his perception of the field and the role of the poet.
