Abstract
The majority of poems written by the author of this thesis, systematically feature a desire to find resolution and comfort in nature within a modern technological world. The poems do not attack or expose the impurities of a modern technological world. Rather they evoke a contemplative reflection in which nature and technology co-exist in a modern landscape.
