Summary
Dr. Tom Rivera interviews Angie Martinez, Nick Martinez Jr., and Lorna Martinez-Garcia regarding the history of the musician Nick Martinez, the Nick Martinez Band, and Nick Martinez’s family. Interview themes include how Nick Martinez’s absence in his family impacted his wife and kids while he was away playing music as well as the Martinez Bakery that his mother ran. It focuses on how Nick’s wife and mother were strong women role models who took charge of their families during Nick’s absence.
